About Me
I am Haotian Shi (石皓天), a Tenured Associate Professor at the College of Transportation Engineering, Tongji University. I received my Ph.D. degree in Transportation Engineering from University of Wisconsin-Madison in May 2023. I hold a multidisciplinary portfolio of degrees from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and Tianjin University, including a Ph.D. and M.S. in Transportation Engineering, an M.S. and B.S. in Computer Sciences, and an M.S. and B.S. in Power Machinery & Engineering.
My primary research interests include Driving Behavior Modeling & Prediction, Connected Automated Vehicle (CAV) Control, Traffic Management, AV Human-Machine Interaction, and 3D Scene Generation for E2E AV Testing. I have published over 70 academic papers in top-tier transportation or computer science journals such as Transportation Research Part C/E、IEEE T-ITS、CACAIE、COMMTR、AAP. Additionally, I hold more than 20 granted invention patents in United States and China.
I recruit multiple Ph.D. and Master’s students each year and welcome Postdoctoral researchers on a rolling basis, particularly those with backgrounds in transportation, automotive engineering, computer science, mathematics, and related fields. Students interested in autonomous driving, intelligent transportation systems, AI, and human-machine interaction are welcome to apply.

我是石皓天,目前在同济大学交通学院任研究员/长聘副教授。我博士毕业于美国威斯康星大学麦迪逊分校,拥有交通工程(博士+硕士)、计算机科学(硕士+学士)、动力机械及工程(硕士+学士)多学位教育背景。
主要研究方向包括自动驾驶行为建模与控制优化、端到端算法测试与场景生成、智能驾驶人机交互、智能网联交通系统等。已发表学术论文70余篇,其中以一作/通讯在TR Part C/E、IEEE T-ITS、CACAIE、COMMTR等中科院一区TOP期刊发表SCI论文20余篇。授权中美发明专利20余项。在TRB、INFORMS等国际学术会议上作学术报告40余次。主持国自然优秀青年科学基金项目(海外)、国自然青年科学基金(C类)等多项国家级及省部级项目。入选国家级青年人才计划、上海市高层次人才计划(海外)、上海市晨光计划。获国家自然科学基金委指导的首届OnSite自动驾驶算法挑战赛高速赛段第三名、威斯康辛智能交通协会奖、IEEE“塑造智能交通未来”一等奖等奖项。担任AAAI 2026、ITFT 2024等国际会议程序委员会委员,世界交通运输大会(WTC)智能云管云控、智能网联与车路协同控制、CAV政策法规、智能驾驶出行服务等技术委员会国际委员,中国公路学会高级会员。
